Complete the international freshman or international transfer admission application. Submit the $100 NON-REFUNDABLE application fee. This fee is required in order to submit your application.
MAIL THE FOLLOWING ITEMS TO THE USC AIKEN OFFICE OF ADMISSIONS:
• Official secondary/high school and/or university
transcript with English translations
• Official English Proficiency test scores, sent directly
from testing agency
The official transcripts must be sent directly to the USC Aiken Office of Admissions from the high school/secondary school you attended in a sealed envelope via mail with English translations
Applicants must have a “course-by-course” evaluation with grade point average calculation completed by a credential evaluation service and submitted directly to the USC Aiken Office of Admissions. Evaluations are accepted from members of the National Association of Credential Evaluation Services (NACES). Please visit naces.org to start that process. The payment and all contact regarding this process is done directly with the evaluation service of your choice and is the responsibility of the student.

Financial Certification - U.S. immigration laws require every educational institution to certify that each student has adequate funding to attend school. The Office of Admissions must receive official documents (originals, not photocopies) which show evidence that you will have sufficient funding to cover the costs of attending USC Aiken for one calendar year. You must show evidence of a minimum of $28,410 USD, the estimated cost of attendance for non-residents at USC Aiken.

USC Aiken’s Office of International Programs assists every international student at USC Aiken to ensure his or her stay in the U.S. and at the University is a pleasant and productive one. We provide a range of support services and information for students and their families.

Your neighbors will be fellow students from around the world, and it won’t be long before you will be knocking on their doors to meet with a study group or start a game of volleyball for a study break.
USC Aiken is also an extremely safe campus, with a variety of support services to help students feel safe at all times. The simple answer is YES! We know that any student that comes to USC Aiken will receive nothing less than a top-tier education. However, we also are aware that students have different needs. We focus heavily on undergraduate students who are preparing for a career after school or who want to continue on to graduate school. There is no substitute for experience and USC Aiken knows this. For the majority of our students, domestic or international, prior to graduating, you will have to participate in an internship or research project. Through allowing students to have hands-on opportunities to apply what they have learned in the classroom, to real-world situations, students will be better prepared for the workplace or for graduate studies. USC Aiken wants you to be job-ready on day one!

STUDY ESL WITH ONE OF OUR PARTNERS
USC Aiken partners with a variety of Intensive English Programs (IEP) in the United States to provide access to a quality higher education experience to international students. As a premier 4-year university, USC Aiken offers a variety of undergraduate and graduate programs, with a primary focus on baccalaureate degrees. International students who graduate from one of our partner institutions at the appropriate level, in all areas of that institution’s curriculum, are eligible to satisfy the English proficiency requirements for admission to USC Aiken in lieu of TOEFL or IELTS test scores. USC Aiken has full confidence that graduation from one of our partner institutions has prepared the student with the necessary English language skills to succeed in the classroom at the university level.
